Inspired by one of the greatest achievements in climbing history, legendary Norwegian climber Robert Caspersen and his team embark on an expedition to the Himalayas with a dream of becoming the first to summit one of the world’s highest rock faces — the Trango Pulpit.
The Norwegian expedition in 1984 was groundbreaking — a milestone in international climbing history — but it also carried a dark side that would leave a lasting mark on the entire climbing community.
Trango portrays two expeditions, 15 years apart, capturing the extreme risks, the personal sacrifices, and the lifelong pursuit of achieving impossible dreams in some of the world’s most brutal mountain terrain.
