In 2013 we were contacted by the renowned Norwegian director Per Olav Sørensen about working as part of the 2nd unit crew on the drama series The Heavy Water War. A six part dramatization of one of the most exciting stories from the Second World War – the Nazis’ efforts to develop an atom bomb and the Allies’ desperate struggle to prevent it from happening. The first two episodes aired on NRK January 4th 2015 with 1 269 000 viewers (62% viewing share).
Our task was to cast experienced telemark skiers as stand-ins for the saboteurs and Nazi soldiers, to shoot the ski action and mountain landscape scenes for episode two, four and five. The filming took place February 2014 in the mountains located near Rjukan, Norway.

We worked as 2nd unit for Paradox Film on director Nils Gaups epic feature film «Birkebeinerne/The Last King». Our task was to capture ski scenes with helicopters, gyros, drones and handheld rigs to get the best ski action possible. The film is sold to several continents, such as North America with Magnolia Pictures.

On December 22nd 2014 we posted a clip from our latest feature film Supervention on Facebook. The clip is Kim Boberg and Even Sigstad skiing a spiral staircase in Trondheim, Norway. The amount of views keeps on going, and we are now counting approx ten million total video views online and the clip has been shown on national TV shows in the US and more. Aksel’s Backyard is a project based on the idea of Aksel Lund Svindal exploring freeskiing in the European Alps. Together with Åsmund Thorsen, Bene Mayr and lead guide Bernd Krainbucher the crew went to Switzerland and Austria in search of big mountain terrain in the areas Aksel usually race.

On friday the 25th Supervention had its official launch in Norwegian cinemas. After 11 days running in over 60 cities the film has now sold 30 000 tickets. It is the most watched Norwegian documentary in cinemas in the year of 2013.
The film will be in theaters in two more weeks. Get your tickets here.

Supervention
After a crazy hectic winter we are now in 100% post production of our new film Supervention. Long days filled with editing is on the agenda and so far things are looking very promising.

Vinneren har vist et over gjennomsnittlig ferdighetsnivå i sitt håndverk. Filmen er laget med en tydelig stemme, fin bildekomposisjon og god klipperytme. Filmen har som eneste i filmkonkurransen lagt vekt på lydetterarbeidet.
Juryen er imponert over gjennomsnittsnivået til bidragsyterne i konkurransen, og mange av filmene holder et veldig høyt nivå.
Juryen har dog konkludert – på bakgrunn av håndverket, forståelsen av bildekomposisjon, lyssetting, klipp og lydetterarbeid at vinneren av Noroff sin Filmkonkurranse vinteren 2013 er VEBJØRN SKASETH ØRPEN med filmen 13/14.
VINNEREN får en dag på innspilling sammen med filmteamet i Field Productions til den niende filmen, Supervention, som har premiere på kino november 2013.
Premien er en reise sammen med filmteamet i Field Productions til Folgefonna Skisenter i Hordaland. Her får vinneren være med å filme ulike parkelementer og vil få et innblikk i hvordan FP jobber.
Reisen til Folgefonna dekkes og skjer i juni 2013.

Velkommen til årets største in-city actionsport arrangement i Norge. Field Rail Jam utvider med konkurranser for både ski, snowboard, sykkel og skate. Sett av 9/10.11.2012 for en helg med foredrag, filmvisning, konsert, Dj’er og ikke minst konkurranser med de beste utøverne i Norden. Lyst til å prøve selv? Vi har åpnen arena for alle som vil prøve seg!
Vi utvider FP Rail Jam og inviterer til Field Fall Festival 2012, stedet er fortsatt Stortorget på Lillehammer og dato er Lørdag 10 November. For første gang i Norge, samles fire egenorganiserte idretter i en og samme konkurranse. Det blir Rail Jam for ski og snowboard, Mini Ramp skate og Bag Jump sykkel.
I samarbeid med DNB Stiftelsen, Moelven Industrier, Snowball/Lillehammer Turist, Sentrum Drift, Lillehammer Brettklubb, Hafjell, UFO, LINE Skies, Elixia, Sweet Protection, Time Grip, NTG og Intersport. Blir dette et unikt event som vil sette standarden for barne og ungdoms arrangement i tiden fremover mot Ungdoms OL i 2016.
Det hele sparkes i gang kl 12.00 , alle konkurransene er Invitational og avvikles i Jam-format. Det blir kvalifiseringer fortløpende gjennom formiddagen, hvor de som hevder seg best, går videre til ettermiddagens finaler.
Oppdaterte lister over deltakere kommer fortløpende, men navn som Even Sigstad, Jesper Tjäder, Andreas Håtveit og Mads André Haugen er allerede bekreftet. Dette gjelder også for store deler av twintip og snowboard landslagene.
